With avion, you can send files to a friend easily and securely. Just share the generated link – e.g. via Facebook or eMail. avion uses the link just to connect to your friend's computer. The data will be sent directly.
Recent versions of Firefox, Chrome und Opera are supported. You can send any files (photos, videos, music, text files, …) but there are still problems with big files.
Unlike e.g. Dropbox, avion transfers the files directly between your browser and your friend's browser, without any server in between. The NSA has no chance to sniff on the data, unlike with Google.
Often, people want to quickly share large files among friends, usually they use eMail or Dropbox for this. I created avion because it should be easier and more secure to send files.
